This underwaterdrone - or ROV for Remotely Operated Vehicle - was successfully crowdfunden on Indiegogo at the end of 2016. It is now available for purchase! It is a 20.4 x 20.8 x 13 cm machine that weighs 5.5 kilos. It is propulsed by 6 thrusters that allow it to react faster and more accurately than its competitors with 3 propellers (thanks to its ability of pure lateral movement). Inside, there is a 4K camera based on a Sony sensor with a 20 mm lens for a FOV of 94 °. It records onboard in UHD at 25 fps or 1080p at 30 fps. It also provides a real-time video feedback in 720p. Four powerful LEDs (350 lumens) at the front illuminate the surroundings. The CCROV is piloted with a conventional radio remote control.

MDC offers 4 standard versions with 25/50/75 and 95m of umbilical.
Here the 95metres version:
The device, capable of withstanding water pressure up to 100 meters, is connected to its pilot by a 95-meter cable with a diameter of 8 mm. This cable is used to transmit video and provide power since the battery is placed in the manual winch box. The autonomy with a full charge is about 1 hour, for a charging time of 1hour 30minutes. The system comes with vehicle (ROV), cable (umbilical on winch and crank), battery and charger, joystick and tripod for laptop / pad in his suitcase. Everything is ready for your diving or the inspection of the hull of your boat!
